Virtual Classroom Experience

A group of people sitting in chairs with laptops, attentively listening to a class.

What’s it like inside the classrooms of the Tecnológico de Monterrey Boot Camps? Our program is intensive and immersive—combining compelling lectures with solo and collaborative team exercises. Students get the chance to work alone outside of class and work in groups in the virtual classroom.

Strategic homework assignments give students hands-on practice on the lessons learned in class, allowing them to fine-tune their skills. We believe that applying your skills on projects is pivotal to mastering new material. In virtual classes, students not only receive a dynamic learning experience, but they also gain insight into a “day in the life” of a full-stack developer or data analyst.

To provide extensive support, classes are held in an intimate virtual setting with a low instructor to student ratio and dedicated TAs.

Attending the boot camp was my way of ‘future-proofing’ myself so I can better understand the new technologies that are being developed thanks to the excellent foundation acquired in the program. It has impacted my life by showing me how in-demand developers are.

It’s the digital age—so everything you need for our programs can be done via laptop. This eliminates the need for extra expenses on books, and you’ll know that you are gaining applied knowledge by working directly in the systems you are learning. You’ll also simulate a professional work environment by solving real-world problems with your peers. Our programs are structured into three main groups:

A man and other people in the background participating in an event with TEC gifts.

Discussion

Instructors lead class discussions and cover the history, background, and use of a new concept or technology.

A laptop placed on a table, ready for use.

Lab Work

You’ll put the curriculum into action, working individually and in teams to complete timed, virtual in-class exercises and projects.

A laptop being used by someone with a coffee cup.

Portfolio Projects

Your portfolio is the culmination of all of your hard work—showing employers that you have the skills for the job. You’ll create a strong portfolio of projects that proves your knowledge across a vast array of technologies.
