About Tecnológico de Monterrey

Tecnológico de Monterrey is the number one private, non-profit University in Mexico. Founded in 1943, the University has since grown to include 26 campuses across Mexico, with a flagship campus at Monterrey.

Tecnológico de Monterrey has a clear vision – through educational experiences, we form people who become agents of change, willing to be even more competitive in order to benefit all, with a clear focus on being instead of having, on serving others instead of possessing things; people who are responsible for their own lives, aware of the fact that their actions may promote the transformation of others.

Tecnológico de Monterrey is a comprehensive University offering PhD, Master, Undergraduate, and high-school programs in Engineering, Management and Social, Arts and Human Sciences, and Medicine. We have 89,641 students in total across our High School, Undergraduate and Graduate Schools, with over 30,000 participating in cultural activities.

We have a strong focus on internationalization, holding academic agreements with 44 Universities in 53 countries, with 56% of our students gaining international experience before graduation.

Tecnológico de Monterrey has a unique culture of entrepreneurship – we own 15 entrepreneurship and innovation parks, have 9 accelerators in our accelerator network and 1,776 companies in the Tecnológico de Monterrey incubation model. Five years after graduation, 38% of our graduates either own or have owned a company.

We are proud of our social responsibility and development initiatives, with 2,469 Community Learning Centers funded by Tecnológico de Monterrey and an average of 550 hours of community outreach completed by each student by the end of their program.
